Job Description:
IT consulting firm with an opening for an experienced windows 2000 / 2003 Network System Engineer with a minimum of 4 years experience in Windows Network Administration, support, troubleshooting, and design. Applicant must be able to support all aspects of network infrastructure and Microsoft platforms. Please note that applicants MUST meet the requirements specified below. Those not meeting these criteria will not be considered for review.

Details:
Must have competent and current understanding of windows 2000/2003 Active Directory domain infrastructure administration with top-notch troubleshooting and results-oriented technical skills

Additional Requirements:
  • Server configuration, support, troubleshooting, maintenance
  • Manage servers, including e-mail, print, and backup servers and their associated operating systems and software
  • Router / firewall configuration and support
  • Knowledge of LAN / WAN design topology implementation
  • Proficient with robotic library and SCSI Tape storage devices (DELL and VERITAS experience preferred)
  • Experience with VPN, IPSEC, Certificate and PKI services (preferred)
  • Proficient in client / server network application deployment, support, and troubleshooting
  • Active Directory configuration, management, troubleshooting
  • Competent in group policy management and implementation for locking down workstations and servers and securing the Windows domain environment
