ROBUST IT SOLUTIONS HELP NJ HOSPITAL CAPTURE AWARD

OBGYN Obstetrics and Gynecology, P.C called upon NIT Connect to provide physicians and doctors, working at five different locations, the ability to work remotely. To meet the needs of the practice’s mobile workforce and move toward automated business processes, NIT Connect is managing all locations’ networks and offering support 24/7. Specifically, NIT Connect deployed Exchange Server 2003 which enables OBGYN to use a Web-based e-mail program, called Microsoft Office Outlook Web Access. This technology replaces manual workloads and provides physicians and doctors with more secure, remote Web access to all their e-mail, scheduling, and contacts.

As a result, OBGYN employees are increasing their productivity through better information management, improved mobility, and newly automated business processes. For a company of 60 people, this can translate into savings of approximately 120 hours a week. When physicians and doctors are traveling, they can log on to the site to access the files and documents that reside on their office computer. Furthermore, doctors who might want to work from another office or from home save many hours every month providing support for OBGYN. “I find my position very challenging and rewarding. The diversity of clients exposes me to an array of varied networks and ultimately their unique networking issues. Each problem that arises challenges me to solve the issue with the specific needs of the client and their network in mind. The types of service issues that I work on range from simple workstation installations to the complex configurations of firewalls, spam filters and exchange server troubleshooting. Telelogic engaged NIT Connect, which faced the added hurdle of picking up where Telelogic’s existing vendor had left off, after its abrupt departure as the software firm’s vendor partner. Responding quickly to meet the needs of Telelogic, NIT Connect provided cost-effective solutions and managed multiple facets of the project including VoIP, phone, data and network management in a number of different locations.

As more businesses look to online marketing for maximum exposure, design firms are faced with the heavy burden of creating award-winning online brand experiences for clients. In addition to its day-to-day responsibilities, Modus Associates, a strategic planning, design, management and e-marketing firm was opening a new facility and in need of a tech solutions provider to build a completely new IT infrastructure.
